Non-Profits

Non-Profits

More Vermonters work for non-profit companies than do for for-profit companies.  The non-profit sector covers the full spectrum from arts oriented organizations to public charities providing services for our less fortunate neighbors.  The complexity of starting and running a non-profit can often be daunting.  Additionally, many Vermont non-profits discover that running a non-profit is much like running a small business.

It helps to have experienced help to reach out to when confronted with issues ranging from first steps to day-to-day operations.  I have advised non-profit clients on everything to their bylaws to whether and how they can serve alcohol at organization functions.   If you are an enlisting non-profit looking for legal help, or just taking those first steps of starting a non-profit, retaining me to help you is one of the strongest steps you can take to ensure that your organization attains its goals.
