About Me

Dennis Wygmans earned his Juris Doctor at Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004. He was admitted to practice law in New Jersey that year, New York in 2005, followed by Vermont in 2011. The majority of Mr. Wygmans’ practice has been in Corporate, and Arts and Entertainment law. However, since relocating to Vermont, his practice has expanded to include Criminal Defense, and his Corporate focus has narrowed to include Small Business, and Intellectual Property. He is a member of the Vermont State Bar Association, and has been a regular panelist at various entertainment related conferences throughout the World.

After operating a number of successful entertainment related enterprises, spanning a period of over twenty years, Dennis entered the legal profession. This real-life experience has helped Mr. Wygmans immensely, especially in his work with businesses, entertainers, and artists. It wasn’t until recently that he realized that he had a passion for criminal defense work – something he discovered through a clerkship with attorney Dan Davis in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Dennis believes that all persons deserve competent legal representation, and works hard to keep his client’s costs low to meet this goal. His small business acumen and substantial experience working in the music industry make him perfectly suited to help clients address their legal needs. Furthermore, his genuine concern for the rights of individuals facing criminal charges makes him the right choice for criminal defense.
